The Department of Political Science invites applications for Chinese Government Scholarships (CGS) from the students of BA Hons and Masters who have completed their degrees from the Department of Political Science, GC University, Lahore and are interested to pursue their MS (two years) from China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China. The said Chinese university under the MoU signed with the Department of Political Science GCU Lahore, would accept two students for CGS scholarship on our recommendation.
Scholarship Coverage
The CGS Program provides a full scholarship which covers tuition fee, accommodation, and comprehensive medical insurance. Apart from this, a stipend of approximately Rs. 40,000 per month is also given to the students.
Eligibility
1. Applicants must be a citizen of Pakistan and be in good health
2. Applicant must be a graduate from the Department of Political Science GC University, Lahore
Application Procedure
Step 1 – Submit the following to the Department of Political Science GC University, Lahore:
- Formal application
- Résumé (CV)
- Research Proposal
- Copy of CNIC

Step 2 – Selected Candidates would be asked to complete the online application procedure at CSC (Chinese Scholarship Council) Online Application System for International Students (Visit http://www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or http://www.campuschina.org and click “Application Online” to log in).
Step 3 – Print the hard copy of the Online Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship and submit all your application documents to China University of Geosciences, Wuhan, China, before April 15, 2017.
